I needed a toy, and it was a toss-up between a Harley and the KX121-3. I had a canal to fill in (144 16-yard truckloads of dirt) and the excavator won. We live on a small farm (5.5 acres) next to a fresh water river near the center of Florida. No salt air from the ocean and the excavator has been garage kept. I loved it (still do) and even hand waxed it once. I have added 133 hours of usage to the engine (it now has 193), and it purrs like a kitten.
