Nice machine most all hoses replaced , freshly serviced including all filters , hydraulic oil and greased. Tracks are close to new. Just had all new seals put in swing motor. Has one hydraulic drip underneath yet probably a hose they missed. Runs and operates very good. Battery about 6 months old. Has 2 speed which works as it should , has expandable tracks , comes with nice 12 bucket everything works as it should. Must sell this excavator. I was happy the “equipment repair guy”, and i use that phrase very loosely came and got my machine and brought it back to his shop. After awhile he called and “claimed” my machine needed a bunch of work and would cost 4-5k to repair. He further claimed he had a great “job ready” machine with a brand new rebuilt engine and new tracks, and why don’t i just trade my machine and 6k for this awesome great running unit, as he claimed it should last me a decade or more considering we don’t use it that much. So after some haggling i agreed to trade my machine and my hard earned cash for his “job ready” awesome great running no issue, use it a decade machine. I look over the machine and notice it needs a new bucket, and my machine had a new bucket i just gave to him, he says no worries i will bring you your bucket next week and swap them, i then notice this unit has no fuel cap, again no worries i’ll bring you the cap from your great running machine next week he says, we also negotiated a hydraulic thumb as i required one for the work i do, you guessed right he is bringing me one next week, no worries. Now the big lie is about to be told ! I notice the machine is smoking a white smoke and it certainly is a concern, he says it just got out of the shop and you need to run her hard for about 20 hours and get those valves seated and her broken in. So not being too gullible i go google” break-in for diesels smoking” and do find a few post mentioning some smoke during break-in period. Oh i almost forgot this part, my friend a few mile down the road has many, many pieces of equipment and mechanics working on his stuff daily, this guy tells me ” i do all the work for ” your buddy down the road, so i figure he must be a good mechanic, and if he’s just down the road i know where to find him. Well well what a big liar , he never comes back to fix my excavator or bring the parts, many broken promises, then a lot of choice words and nae calling because of my impatience with a machine that stopped running within an hour of us using it, so it sits right smacj in the middle of our basement excavation… Runs but no power after warm up. So i go see my friend down the road who knows everybody, and nobody screws him over, and i ask about mr. Honest equipment repair person from sylva n. No reserve this machine will sell. And will not be removed for any cash offers so please don’t ask. I bought this machine 2 years ago to do work around my new house and lake house. I bought it because i don’t always have time being a farmer to get it all done when i needed to get it done so renting would have been a hassle and cost way to much. I also have used this machine to put some underground irrigation pipe in on the farm. This is a great machine well service and tight. The digging bucket pins do have some slack but not just plum wore out. When i bought it the side panel had a big dent in it and would not stay closed so i replaced it and i put new tracks on it and top rollers. Everything else on the track system is great and is all 80% or better on the items i didn’t replace. The a/c works great as well as the heat. Can is loaded and everything works. As auxiliary hydraulic plumed on the boom and is all controlled from the joystick. It has a radio. It has all of its glass and all of it is glass other than the front that rolls up it is made out of lexan. I busted it twice and they are $200 from cat. You can’t bust the lexan. The hour meter does not show the correct hours. It has 1987 hours but meter only shows 38.2. But the hours i have listed are correct. When i bought it it worked fine and i myself was running it and i had the door open and a stick came up in the cab and stabbed it and tore it up and it didn’t work anymore. I tried but couldn’t. This will sell i’m done with it and it is not for sale locally and no i will not take it off for any cash offers. So please don’t ask. If you have any questions please give me a call.
