John Deere 490D excavator for sale. Late 80s Hitachi built machine, same size as EX120. 4 cyl John Deere diesel engine. 27,430lbs operating weight. Great running machine with very strong hydraulics and in overall decent shape for the age. Pins and bushings are tight and there are no leaks. Comes with nice 32in CP bucket and manual thumb. Chains are pretty loose and will need replaced eventually, but they do have some life left. Rest of U/C is in fair shape. This machine has just been fully serviced, both boom and arm cylinders rebuilt, and has a new alternator. Could use a few things to be perfect, but very respectable for an older machine and able to go right out to work.
