Excavators

Only myself and my son have used this machine digging septic systems, basements, some lot clearing and a little demolition. My work was located in central New Jersey digging in sand, clay and loam and did not work in rock or shale. The 120 has a 4 cylinder turbo charged diesel engine with 90 hp. The track pads are 28 wide with a respectably light 3.96 psi ground pressure. It weighs 27,200 and is easily moved by a 20 ton tag trailer. It has the longer 9′11″ stick so it’s maximum digging depth is 19′6″ and 18′11 for an 8′ level bottom. I have excavated septics to slightly over 14′ deep with no problem. The 36 bucket is rated at 3/4 cubic yards and has good teeth. All boom, stick and bucket linkages are tight but the bucket pin and bushings are worn. I didn’t do a lot of traveling with this machine doing septics and basement digs which was the same work as the original owner did so the undercarriage is in very good shape. Pictured are the sprockets, and the track pins and bushings are very good and yet to be turned. There is one loose bottom roller. Cab glass is good and the sheet metal has no dents. Since 2010 most of the work this machine has done has been with a landscape contractor and hurricane Sandy clean up.
