Decided to list my 2008 komatsu pc-78 mr machine. This is a great mchine, i have owned since 2010 i bought it with 1,700 hours on it, and have used here and there over the years. I have factory owners manual book. Machine has had an oil change every 100 hours since i have owned it. Every other year this was sent back to local komatsu dealer (anderson equpiment where they would check over machine) ie oil samples, cycle times and working pressures. All other filter are have been changed before service interval, (ie) air , hyd, fuel filters and cabin filters. It has factory a/c (blows cold). 2 speed travel, auto idle, optional cab work lights and pattern changer. The thumb hydralic was added when machine was new , docments say 3.0 hours (amulet, please see pics). Machine is plumbed to run a second attachment (never had a breaker on it). The sheet metal is perfect, no dents , no filler, scratches or rust any where. The paint is perfect, i would say a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10, i painted it back in 2010 (only the yellow was painted, was starting to fade) painted with single stage urethane, still shines mint. Machine has been stored inside inside every winter since 2010. Bought all new factory decals (no tape overs). This machine has no leaks of any kind. This machine does not use or burn oil. Interior is very nice, plastic is perfect , no burns on seat. Glass is perfect, never replaced. The pins and bushing are orginal, and very tight, i would say tight as the day new. Machine is very quick and smooth. Under carriage is perfect (rollers, sprockets, ilders and carrier rollers). Rubbers track are orginal and in good shape, some rips at edges of track (its looks as if they got to close to a curb) does not affect the preformance at all. I also have several komatsu excavators, hate to sell its a great machine but just dont need 3 machine this size. 2006 bobcat 334g in excellent condition! The machine was refurbished 2 years ago and at that time was professionally gone over, re-painted and new tracks were put on. Over this winter we had a new fuel-tank filter installed, new pins and bushings for the bucket and new grease lines to the turn-table and pivot cylinder. Also, included is a removable winter cab cover as shown in the picture and 2-buckets. One bucket is a 24″ and one bucket is a 16″. Also, the machine is plumbed for attachments. All fluids have been changed and machine is ready to work. Hours are subject to change as we occasionally still use the machine in our general construction company. Maximum digging depth is 11.2′.
